Quandary

I am the Diva' gaan.

The Challenge for 161 is to use Qandary and to see what the best way is for drawing this tangle. I had a hard time drawing this, it's one that I just cannot do.

So I'm not pleased with the tile I made, but as always I post the first one I made on my blog, however it becomes. If I have time later this week I might try another one.

Now I'll go see what other tanglers did with it.

To see more entries or participate yourself you can go to the web-log of 'I am the Diva'.

If you will be so kind to add a comment (positive criticism is also very welcome), then please do.

Blessed be!
Annemarie

  2. I am not crazy about mine either, but I think a lot of us struggle with this tangle. I really like the balance in yours!

  4. The tile is beautiful, Annemarie - as always - I can see you had a little struggle with Quandary but it adds a lovely light touch to the top of your tile. I think it's worth practising it - have you tried using a grid? Once you get the hang of it, it's not toooooo difficult! Axxx

  5. I love how random your Quandary is. My mind works in straight lines so I envy people who can do random! Linda x

  6. I like the string you used for this piece. Your Quandary is very flowing. I like how everyone's looks so different. We all have such different approaches to doing this tangle and it is interesting to read how everyone deals with this different tangle.

  8. Quandary can be difficult. I think you have the basics and you will feel more comfortable the more you do it. There are always tangles that are more of a challenge. Do like the patchwork composition of your tile.

  13. Hi Anne Marie! Your tile is nice! When I saw the Diva asking us to draw Quandary again I thought here we go again....it is really hard! There was someone on Youtube who drew Quandary in a grid, so I tried it and that made it easier!

  15. Your tile is indeed very good indeed and like the balance of patterns. The string looks like ribbons the way it folds through the tile.
