The flu and Rumpus

As some of you may have read, there was no input from me for last week's challenge.

Almost two weeks ago the FLU got me, and that was a long, long time ago. Since some years I get the 'flu shot' in autumn and never had this horrible flu. But this year, the vaccination did not cover a certain mutation and that’s the one that got me (and many people in this country).
Last Sunday I did get another surprise on top of it: a urinary infection! Also not something you really want :-(

I think today is the first day I feel a little better and ... I even drank a cup of coffee (always a sign of getting better). The good thing that came out of this all: I lost the three kilo that I really needed to loose :-)

So, last night I sat at the table and tangled for the first time since I became ill. Finding out, that this week's tangle Rumpus is a real nice one to relax.
I am not very fond of the result, but the process was pleasant, especially after almost two weeks.

Thank you for visiting my blog and I hope you leave me a comment; I do appreciate that a lot. Work created by fellow tanglers can be seen at 'I am the diva'.

Blessed be!
Annemarie

  3. so sorry that you've been sick. The flu this year has been brutal, and pretty scary. Glad you are starting to feel better. Give yourself plenty of time to recuperate. AND keep up the tangling! This Rumpus tile is delightful. I like how rounded everything is. Nice!

  5. Oh, I hope you are well now! I have been sick since the 7th of January. Sick...better...sick...better...sick... My DIL, Leah, had it first and is still sick. There are different versions going around that pay the flu shot no mind at all. The one we have is more sinuses and exhaustion. Stay well, friend! :)

  8. This has been a bad year for colds and flu. Mine lasted for about three weeks, and I got the jab. Beautiful tangle. I like the soft colours you used.

  9. I'm so sorry that you have been so sick. The flu that has been going around is a most vicious one this year. Just don't try to overdo it. I have been on antibiotics almost the whole month of January for pneumonia and a sinus infection that have kept me pretty much exhausted, so I totally understand being too sick to tangle. Your zendala with Rumpus is so very pretty and puffy. I'm glad that you were able to get back to tangling. I hope to be back amongst the living soon again too. Healing hugs and take care of yourself please :)
