New from HQ: Noom :-)

As we could expect, Laura has chosen Noom, the new tangle from HQ, for this week's challenge.

This is a very easy to draw tangle and it has a nice effect. Probably most if used as a frame, but I decided to use it otherwise. In real life the tile is much more purplish, as always the scan doesn't show the colors very well.

MacNCheese

I do like this week's 'MacNCheese' challenge!!! And I do understand what Laura (and Maria) are saying about the complexity of some new tangles. There are so (too) many new tangles going around that's it's hard to know what to choose and that makes tangling full of stress sometimes instead of a relaxing thing to do.

So, I LOVE this challenge!!!

Some of my 'MacNCheese' are used in this tile: Ixorus, Paradox, Cadent, Tipple and Crescent Moon. With the headphone on with (for me) beautiful music, I had a great time creating this tile.

This week I also did this one for Square One Purely Zentangle; not the best I ever did, but I like this:

Children's tangle

This week a new tangle coming from the kitchen table at Rick and Maria's. 

Tangled by the daughters of Molly: Indy and Mazzy.

It's a pretty and easy to draw tangle, but I'm a bit scarred that most entries this 

week will look a bit the same. But .... maybe I will be surprised.
I took a tile with warm pink/purple coloring and used several pens, the 'normal' 

one and then up to 08. I also used a white pen for some light in the tile.

Making this tile was pleasant and my stress was gone in no time. And, as a bonus,

I like it!

Lovely Amphora

The first Monday of March and as always that means an UMT. This time it is a lovely tangle created by Lily Moon, she named it 'Amphora'.

I never used this tangle before and like drawing it, the only problem is, what tangles to use next to it! Working on this tile was fun, but the result is not something I like (no, also not the next morning).
