We
are home again after a quite busy weekend at the Dutch coast. The
daughter of my husband and her family, who live in UK, were there on
their holiday and we joined them for a long weekend. This was in
Duinrell, an amusement and holiday park where the grandchildren
really amused themselves! And so did we, running around swings,
merry-go-rounds a.s.o.
Now
we're home to rest a bit :-)
This is what I did there on Sunday morning:
And
then there is challenge 322 and Aquafleur is the tangle to play with
this week. I hardly ever use that one, so a good time to start doing
this. After drawing Aquafleur I decided to fill the rest of the tile
with Baton, also a tangle that I never use.
I
think I like the result, even when it turned out to be very 'stripy'!
Thank
you for visiting my blog and I hope you leave me a comment. Work
created by fellow tanglers can be seen at 'I am the diva'.
Blessed Be!!!

Wow, wat een bijzondere Aquafleur uitvoering! Al die strepen maken het een spannend geheel.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenGlad you had a nice time with the family!!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNice tangles. I like the first one especially. :)
I like the contrast of the curvy Aquafleur against the straight-lined Baton. Additionally, it is almost monochromatic, which adds to its charm.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLovely composition, Annemarie, and I love the lined look and color!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWow. Could I ask how you got the background colour effect on your Aquafleur tile? It looks awesome.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNice work on both tiles. Like what you did with Aquafleur.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI like your tiles! The first on has a wonderful combination of patterns and looks really summerly and your stripy aquafleur is also nice :-)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenbeautiful work! I love the composition of the first tile and your Aquafleur is so elegant;-)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI really like the contrast between Aquafleur and Baton! The first tile feels like holidays to me!
