Even
after a week with all family members being ill, Laura made it to the
challenge!
She
gives us a Circle
Square String Theory this
week.
As
soon as I read this, I liked it: simple and clean. The thing was to
find some round and square objects to use as a template. I found a
template with lots of circles (did not even remember having that) and
for the squares I took a few tiles in different sizes.
Then
I chose a gray tile, a long time ago I used one of them.
So
I started tangling and had some zen time. After finishing I liked it;
I only should not have added the aura’s in the right bottom corner.
A lesson learned: don't overdo it :-)
Ever
since I work in a hospice as volunteer (since last August) I tangle
there at the kitchen-table when it's quiet. Sometimes just a few
lines, sometimes a bit more.
It's a common thing now for people seeing me there at the table with a tile and a pen; I love the fact that two other volunteers started tangling too!

These
are the tiles I did in March:
Thank you for visiting
my blog and I hope you leave me a comment. Work created by fellow
tanglers can be seen at 'I am the diva'.
Blessed Be!!!

BeantwoordenVerwijderenJij hebt niet stil gezeten. Mooi en de diva is geweldig met die overlap van vierkant en rond. Schitterend!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI like it!! Very mid-century feeling.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI found your challenge tile fascinating, Annemarie. Very unique! I did not know you worked at a hospice.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHow wonderful to help those during such a difficult transition.
Your work is lovely and I really like the Diva Challenge tile. I haven't used a grey tile but this makes me want to try.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI do like the Diva Challenge tile! Inspiring on colored background!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI love how your big square looks transparent because of the way you inverted the blacks and whites "behind" it. Very creative and fun!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenGreat artwork, Annemarie. And to share at the hospice is just fabulous. Thank you for the service you provide your charges; it's very demanding work. c
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWhat a great tile! It's so graphic and pleasing to look at. I truly admire and respect the hospice work you do.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBeautiful grey tile Annemarie! Very striking! And thank you for your hospice work... I know you will be a comfort to those hearts that need you. :)

Vrolijk Pasen Annemarie
Love the grey tile!
