Last week I did not
comment much and after Friday I didn’t comment at all.
The reason is a very
sad one: Tedah, our very old cat, became very, very ill. For quite a
while you could see her getting old and having some problems walking
(arthritis). But, she still had fun in life and liked nice food,
warmth and being stroked.
Last Thursday she
stopped eating all of a sudden and you could see she was not happy
anymore. On Friday we went to our vet and he said she had a kidney
problem, a urinary infection and was a bit withered (and that while
she was drinking all the time) and, most of all, a very, very old
lady. We never knew her age because in 2002 I got her from a animal
shelter; we guessed she was about three years old then.
So, we went home with
her, taking some special food (a kidney diet) and she had got an
injection with antibiotic. We had to come back on Sunday for the next
injection. Yes, on Sunday, Easter Sunday, this very nice vet was
coming to do that on his day off!!!
But then it got worse
and worse with her.
It was hard to watch,
because there was so little left of our happy Tedah.

Tedah (a name from Wicca that means 'fierce beauty') |
On Sunday we spoke to
the vet and together we decided that we did not want her to suffer
any longer. So we had to make that (almost) impossible decision and let her go.
Later on we brought her
to the animal crematorium, that was actually closed but also there
was a very nice lady that came for us especially.
Today the house feels
terribly empty and we already miss her.
She
was certainly not the friendliest cat I ever had, but absolutely the
funniest and so very much my
cat.
So no you know why I
did hardly comment last week.
Normally I don't share
much personal stuff here, but now I felt a need to do so.
Then this week's
challenge.
Laura has asked us to
spill coffee, tea or whatever fluid on a tile and use that as our
string. I dropped some coffee on the tile
and when it was dry I started tangling. I liked doing this and the tangling was very relaxing; something I can use in these days.

I did turn the tile after tangling |
Thank
you for visiting my blog and I hope you leave me a comment. Work
created by fellow tanglers can be seen at 'I am the diva'.
Blessed Be!!!
