Moowa and hand-lettering

And again (already so soon) it is the first Monday of the month and that means UMT (use my tangle) day in the language of the Diva challenge.
It is Moowa by Anya Ipsen and this tangle looks a lot like Mooka, just three of them :-)

Since Mooka (drawn this way) is not really my friend, this Moowa isn't either; it's a bit of a stuggle.
And after Moowa, what to do with the rest of the tile???? But then it was suddenly finished and I think it's quite pretty.

Last week I went to a workshop 'hand-lettering' and I liked that!! A few days later it was the birthday of Kees, so I did my first attempt on a card for him:

Not too bad, isn't it?

Thank you for visiting my blog and I hope you leave me a comment. Work created by fellow tanglers can be seen at 'I am the diva'.

Blessed Be!!!
Annemarie

  2. Leuk ,je diva tile. Mooka vind ik wel leuk, maar Moowa ligt me ook niet zo. Aangezien ik die pas voor een uitdaging gemaakt heb pas ik. Mooi de letters zo geschreven!.

  5. I think your Moowa turned out lovely! I'll bet Keys loved your hand done birthday wish. I am taking a lettering class in January from the Copic group. I hope I can do as well as you did!

  6. I have to agree with you, Mooka is not my friend, either. Moowa is not quite as bad. To me it seems to flow a little better. But I still haven't figured out how to use it in a tile. I'm sure something will come to me.

  8. Beautiful work on both your Moowa and the lettering. I struggled a long time to make Mooka my friend and Moowa proved quite difficult.

  9. I agree that this wasn't easiest tangle to learn, just like I always struggle with Mooka too! But your final effect is so pretty. It feels like I'm peeking out of a fancy window at a lush garden outside. Maybe I just need summer back!
