And again (already so
soon) it is the first Monday of the month and that means UMT (use my
tangle) day in the language of the Diva challenge.
It is Moowa by Anya
Ipsen and this tangle looks a lot like Mooka, just three of them :-)
Since Mooka (drawn this
way) is not really my friend, this Moowa isn't either; it's a bit of
a stuggle.
And after Moowa, what
to do with the rest of the tile???? But then it was suddenly finished
and I think it's quite pretty.
Last week I went to a
workshop 'hand-lettering' and I liked that!! A few days later it was
the birthday of Kees, so I did my first attempt on a card for him:
Not too bad, isn't it?
Thank you for visiting
my blog and I hope you leave me a comment. Work created by fellow
tanglers can be seen at 'I am the diva'.
Blessed Be!!!
Annemarie
Lovely tile and your lettering is great!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI love how you used Moowa in a unique composition. You did a really nice job.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenTerrific Moowa tile! It is very Pretty!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLovely lettering!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenVery pretty. :)
I agree--it's quite pretty!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI think your Moowa turned out lovely! I'll bet Keys loved your hand done birthday wish. I am taking a lettering class in January from the Copic group. I hope I can do as well as you did!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI have to agree with you, Mooka is not my friend, either. Moowa is not quite as bad. To me it seems to flow a little better. But I still haven't figured out how to use it in a tile. I'm sure something will come to me.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYou did a very good job with your lettering. Your Moowa tile is also so beautyful. Great composition.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBeautiful work on both your Moowa and the lettering. I struggled a long time to make Mooka my friend and Moowa proved quite difficult.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI agree that this wasn't easiest tangle to learn, just like I always struggle with Mooka too! But your final effect is so pretty. It feels like I'm peeking out of a fancy window at a lush garden outside. Maybe I just need summer back!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNice tile, I love it:-)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBeautiful tile and hand lettering!!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI can echo everyone's comments about Moowa, and also agree that yours is lovely! What a sweet birthday card! I'm so glad you were able to go to a lettering workshop. I would love to do that, too. Happy Birthday, Kees!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThanks for struggling!! And your Moowa looks great! I like how it looks like plants giving shelter.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBoth - your tile with MooWa and the hand-lettering - are just wonderful!
