Ruim
More
then 10 weeks ago I walked into a door post with my little finger. It
did not even hurt too bad, but because it 'snapped' quite strangely,
I went to my GP. She said that it was bruised and there was nothing
special I had to do.
Because
I kept having pain, last week I went to a special hand physio
therapist, who said that the ligaments (I'm learning a lot new words)
are torn and that a trauma like this normally takes three to six
month.
He
made me a small brace, that I have to wear 24 hours a day:
Natuurlijk
tanglen:
Of
course I couldn't resist and spent about 15 minutes to tangle on it:
Tanglen
Since
I wear this brace, tangling is not very easy and especially straight
lines are hard to do.
Just
now Laura gives 'striping' as subject for the challenge. Well, I
tried my best and the result is not even too bad I think.
For
Square One Snail was the tangle of the week. This is what I did with
it:
vrolijker.
On
the web-log of Laura 'I am the diva' you can see what other tanglers
made of this challenge and, if you want (and why not?) upload your
own tile.
I
do appreciate you visiting my blog a lot and I hope you will leave me
a comment. I want to thank every one that left me a comment last
week. Those comments always brighten my day!
Blessed
Be!!!

I love the tangle you did on your brace, lol, good job. Even so, I'm sorry you are in pain. Pain or not, tho, your Diva challenge tile is just plain awesome!! The Square One tile is great, too!! Hope your hand heals quickly.

Both tiles are unique. I continue to enjoy seeing how you colour your tiles. Best of luck with bad fingers.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI think your stripes work very well and the pink background is very pretty.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNever walk into a doorpost any more! Great tangling in spite of that!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYour stripes works well. I hope your finger is better soon and doesn't take 6months to heal.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenOh my goodness on your injury! Darn. Now if you were on blood thinner meds (as I am) what you just did would be one major major injury involving a bruise that you would not believe and your whole hand would turn blue and black! I am not kidding. This happened to my ankle recently…the door slammed shut on the back of my right angle just above the heel. Nothing broken BUT I got this major hematoma/bruise that sent me to Urgent Care medical and they put me on antibiotics just in case of infection. It took 4 WEEKS for my angle/foot to regain it's normal shape and it still has remnant of the bruise. I tell you horrible story so you do not have to whine as much as I did. AND thank heavens it was not my tangle hand as you would have heard a MAJOR scream then! ps I love your tangle.
Good for you to keep on tangling with an injury. And it looks wonderful. I love the happy pink background too.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI saw your hand "jewelry" on Facebook, but of course, since I can't read Dutch, I had no idea! Do take care of your hand. Don't you just love the simplicity of Snail? Such a great fill for tangling! Nice!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenGreat tangling with an injury! Wonderful pink background for strippy and like your snail tangled tile very much. Hope your hand gets better soon!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenOh dear, your poor hand! What great tangling you have managed to do even with an injured hand - I presume it is your writing hand that you injured. How did you tangle your brace so carefully, very clever. Sending healing thoughts....
BeantwoordenVerwijderenOh my! You did these with your fingers in a splint? Wow! They're great. :)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI hope your finger hurts not too bad! What a funny idea to tangle to the brace ;-)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYour diva tile is wonderful, I love the colour! And your snail tile is also great!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI love the tangling on your bandage. What a great idea! I hope your finger heals quickly. :)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenTake care of the hand, but what a fun bit of decoration to use on your brace. Lovely tile as well.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWell that's what I call determination;-) Your pieces are lovely.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHahaha! tangling on your finger splint...wonderful. and I love your diva tile. You did really well even with bound fingers. take care, and get better.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYour tangle is great, especially considering the brace. And great way to turn lemons into lemonade by tangling that brace. Get well soon!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBeautiful work! Get well soon & Happy weekend!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBoth tiles are wonderful! Especially I like the understated elegance of your Diva-challenge tile. Your tangled brace makes me smile. Keep care of your hand and get well soon!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBest wishes, Annette
Your tile is amazing, you did so well considering your fingers are in a brace. I like the tangled brace and I would of done the same.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt's very pretty despite the injured hand.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSorry to hear about your hand. I have had injuries to my hand, but not since I have been tangling. They do present some interesting challenges as we are not always aware of how and how much we use them. Hope that yours heals soon.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI think you did well on your tile. Like the concentric frames.
Your tile is beautifully done; and even more impressive when I think that you did it with an injured hand. I love the way you decorated your splint. Take care of your hand and get better!
