Since
I was 40 I never really celebrated my birthday, just my children and
my best friend came to visit.
Last
Sunday it was my 70th birthday and I did celebrate, in fact because
my daughter convinced me to do so, telling me that it really is a
reason to celebrate because lots of people don't make it to that age
and I think she is right. That I still don't like this ageing thing,
is a different matter. You, tanglers of about this age, how do you
feel about getter old(er)?
So,
I invited some friends and ordered catering for an Indonesian buffet,
which was fantastic:
I'm
glad I did this, because it was a good and warm evening.
Up
to the challenge.
I
love Paradox, so I loved this week's challenge to use it in a
monotangle.
Loved
every minute of working on my tile last night. Even love the result!

I have felt physically older than my years for a long time due to all the health issues--but inside I am still just a young thing and am shocked to see what is happening to the shell I live in--ROFL! ;) Happy birthday!!! :) :)

BeantwoordenVerwijderenHappy Birthday and I like your tile. I also am a fan of Paradox. I find it very relaxing, which is why I wanted to participate in this challenge. Have only looked at a few submissions. As far as aging, I am a only a few years behind you. I do not think about it a lot as I am helping with my mother and mother-in-law. They are 89 and 93 respectively. Guess that helps with my perspective. Some days I feel older than others but still hoping to keep going strong.
