A not so puffy Puf

This last week of Laura's Birthday Month is a monotangle: Puf by Carole Ohl.
I think I never did this tangle before, so a nice time to do so. At east, that was what I thought, but after starting I quickly found out, that I'm not really friends with Puf. The 'puff' that I see in Laura's tile and in the step out is nowhere to be found in my Puf.

Well, as there are still no mistakes in Zentangle, I finished my tile and here it is for you to look at:

I will probably don't comment to your work much this week, because I will leave for Switzerland on Friday and stay there with my daughter for some days.

A remake and a 'button'

Poor Laura and Artoo are ill, at least they were at te start of the week. I really hope they are better by now.

'Remake of a classic' is what we are supposed to do this challenge.
I did read the 'remake', but not so much the 'classic'. I was just looking at a tile that I liked and wanted to do again.
So, I ended up with my classic from last December :-)

For the new one, I used a tile of crepe paper, that was sent to me in a swap but I forgot who sent it. Maybe someone will recognize it!? I like it anyway.
I only looked at the old one for a moment and then made the new one. When I had finished and looked again I was surprised how different it developed.

Last week I also make my first zenbutton. Not a great success, but I like it as a zendala.

Aura's and more aura's

Last Saturday Laura had her birthday and because of that, all challenges in May will be favorite challenges of hers.

This week the theme is 'Laura's aura's'.
I always use aura's a lot because I like how they make tangles look. So for this challenge I only used more aura's then usual.

The next tile is made over the weeks in our hospice:

Somnee and a zendala

A new month and that means an UMT in Diva language!
And one of Laura herself: Somnee. I used this tangle before, but that's a long time ago. It's easy to use and so it's quite relaxing.

I used a tile cut of Elefantenhaut and tangled in black and (finally used my new set of) white Sakura pens. Shading was done with a white pencil.

I have been working on a zendala for some time. It was just there to go on whenever I felt like it. The tile is 15 x 15 cm and colored with the Eco Dye method. Even saying so myself, I like it a lot :-) The only thing I regret is that I added Cadent in the end; I should have left those spots open.

Amanda on cardboard

'Amanda' day, again this year. For the 7th time!!!

I really thought not to join this time, because I was afraid that it would be more of the same.
But then there was a parcel in the mail (I ordered a book) and I saw the logo, a bright blue circle and that made me pick my scissors and cut out a tile.
That blue (part of the) circle reminded me of the sky and around it I used tangle 'golven', that word is Dutch for waves.
Finally I grabbed a brown pen, because that represents the earth. A simple tile, but I think it does represent the subject.

This tile was a bit hard to tangle on, because it is corrugated cardboard.
